We are excited to be hosting a luncheon for this year’s International Women’s Day in March in Darwin – this year’s international theme is #inspireinclusion and we are embracing this theme with a panel of inspiring Women working in the export industry. (NT Women in Export - NT Women making their mark on the World). 

Promoting and recognizing the efforts of women in export is crucial for fostering diversity and inclusivity in global trade. Women play a significant role in various industries, and their involvement in export can lead to economic growth, innovation, and positive social impact.

There is increasing evidence and information on how supporting Women in Trade is key in promoting gender equality which has been outlined in a report by the World Bank Group and World Trade Organisation, - Women’s Day on Women in Trade – The Role of Trade in Promoting Gender Equality.
