The Chamber of Commerce would like to invite your business to participate in this year’s Go Local First Spend and Win promotion.

You do not need to be a member of the Chamber to participate.

Why Go Local First?

Promoting local businesses involves contributing to your community, generating employment, and nurturing economic durability. It entails acknowledging the effort, commitment, and ingenuity that small businesses contribute to our economy. Opting for a 'Go Local First' approach is a decision that positively impacts your neighbours, community, and nation.

Each participating business receives a marketing package, which includes:  

• A3 promotional posters
• branded ticket entry box 
• starter pack of entry tickets (more are available as required)   
• a list of marketing tips to help your business make the most of the promotion

The Chamber promotes participating businesses via television and radio advertising, as well as print and social media, but there are also opportunities for businesses to leverage this to maximize benefits to themselves and the community.

For each transaction of $25 or more made in your business, an entry ticket is given to the customer.  It is their responsibility to complete the ticket and place it in one of the many entry boxes at participating businesses.  The draw is held on Tuesday 23rd April, and the winners receive a share of the $2500 prize pool in $50 increment gift vouchers that they can spend with any of the participating businesses.  The tickets will have a 6-month expiration date.

So please, if you want to reward your loyal customers, promote your business, and support your community, complete the registration form right now!  Remember, registrations are only open until Sunday 25th February 2024.

• Chamber members: $165.00
• Non-Chamber Members: $185.00

Key Dates:

• Registrations close: Sunday 25th February 2024
• Promotion starts: Monday 4th March 2024

• Prize draw: Tuesday 23rd April 2024
