THE TRESPASS ACT

The Trespass Act 2023 enables occupiers to enforce property rights through formal process for trespass. This guide has been developed as an aid for occupiers, and persons authorised to exercise powers under the Act on behalf of occupiers. The Act commences on 1 May 2023 and sets out enforcement measures for occupiers to remove and exclude a person from a place.
