Most businesses rely on technology every day, but it is easy to only think about IT when something stops working. This practical session is designed to help local businesses better understand the everyday IT foundations that keep their workplace productive, secure and connected.

Hosted by Red Centre Technology Partners, the session will look at common areas that can create risk or disruption for small and medium businesses, including devices, logins, cyber safety, Wi-Fi, Microsoft 365, backups, phones, printers, cameras and support arrangements.

The session is not designed to be overly technical. It will focus on plain-English examples, practical questions and common “Aha” moments that help business owners and managers think about what may need checking in their own workplace.

This session is suited to SMEs, business owners, managers and office/admin leads who rely on technology but may not have dedicated internal IT support. Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of what questions to ask, what risks to be aware of and what areas may need further review.
