Member Spotlight: Innovation in Print - A Visit to Colemans Creative & Printing

Last week, Chamber NT Member Relations Manager, Daniel Ademidun and the Member Relations Coordinator, Tatiana Hoffmann, had the pleasure of visiting Colemans Printing + Creative + Signage in Darwin for an exclusive site tour and an insightful session on specialist printing solutions technology.

Our team were warmly welcomed by Mikey and Magdaline Coleman, who showcased the state-of-the-art capabilities that recently earned Colemans the prestigious recognition of 2025 Northern Territory Business of the Year at the NT Export and Business Awards.

The visit was made even more impactful by the presence of two industry leaders:

  • Mark Daws, Director of Labels and Packaging – Currie Group
  • Craig Walmsley, Country Manager – HP Indigo Graphic Solutions

Together, they represent world-class multinational expertise in ITC and graphic arts production and demonstrated the advanced printing capabilities now available locally through Colemans.

 What was once sourced interstate or overseas can now be produced right here in the heart of Darwin. During the visit, we sampled Creativity with Crunch granola labels and stickers, explored local collaborations featuring mango products and craft gin, and saw applications for the heavy industrial sector. There were also a few exciting “secret” projects printed on wood and glass—developments we’ll be hearing more about from Colemans soon.  It’s always encouraging to see Territory businesses investing in new technology and working collaboratively with other members to strengthen corporate brands and local supply chains. Colemans continues to surprise with the breadth of services they offer—well beyond traditional printing.

The event clearly demonstrated Colemans’ commitment to innovation and to strengthening local industry through world class production solutions. Thank you Colemans team again for the invitation and for hosting such an informative and engaging session.
