The Beetaloo Sub-basin Opportunity
The Beetaloo Sub-basin is recognised as one of the world’s largest and most significant shale gas resources. This transformative project has the potential to generate more than $AU17 billion in economic value for the Northern Territory over the next 2 decades through royalties, jobs, infrastructure investment and business growth.
With the Beetaloo Sub-basin approaching first gas, Territory businesses have a unique opportunity to participate in the development across the full spectrum of the service and supply chain for this globally significant development.
Is Your Business Ready to Engage in the Northern Territory's Onshore Shale Gas Service and Supply Chain?
Territory businesses and service providers seeking to grow their participation in opportunities arising from the Beetaloo shale gas development are invited to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to join a business delegation to Texas and Pennsylvania - two of the world's leading LNG and energy markets.
Participants will gain firsthand insight into the onshore shale gas service and supply chain, from exploration and production through to processing, infrastructure, logistics, and export.
The delegation offers opportunities to learn from industry leaders, build international connections, and better understand the capabilities and standards underpinning successful shale gas developments.
By strengthening their knowledge and networks, local businesses will be better positioned to compete for opportunities arising from current and future energy projects in the Northern Territory.
EOIs are now open for Territory businesses seeking to play a greater role in the region's growing energy sector.
