Since 1957, the Chamber of Commerce Northern Territory has been the leading advocate for businesses across the region. Our mission? To tirelessly champion economic viability on local, national, and international fronts while providing steadfast support to our 1200+ members.

 

Role Overview:
As the head of the Membership, Events, and Marketing Department, you'll be at the helm of a dynamic team responsible for member engagement, event coordination, and strategic marketing initiatives. From promoting and delivering over 40 annual events to spearheading innovative membership services, your role will be pivotal in driving the Chamber's mission forward.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage the MEM Department, ensuring seamless execution of strategies.
  2. Develop and implement the Chamber's annual membership growth strategy.
  3. Oversee the planning and execution of diverse events, ranging from Business@Sunsets to corporate golf days.
  4. Provide leadership and support to the marketing team, driving digital marketing efforts and sponsorship initiatives.
  5. Collaborate with departmental leaders and team members to develop and execute comprehensive membership, events, and marketing plans.
  6. Manage department budgets effectively to maximise resources.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated leadership experience and strong organisational skills.
  • Proven track record in events, membership, and marketing.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and CRM platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a team environment.
